Cast Your Vote to End Hunger on Super Tuesday
Twelve states and one territory will vote in the presidential primary election today. Named Super Tuesday because of the large number of Republican and Democratic delegates at stake for each potential presidential candidate, the results from today’s primaries will help set the stage for the remainder of 2016. Over 45 million people are expected to vote in this election. Nationwide, we know that 1 in 6 ( and 1 in 4 children) struggle with hunger. That means that statistically, 7.5 million of these voters may not know how or when they will have their next meal. As the Feeding America partner, Feeding Northeast Florida launched the “Campaign to End Hunger” in January to help the 323,000 individuals in our service areas who also struggle with hunger. Together, this is one race we can all win. Please visit www.campaigntoendhunger.org to sign our petition and contribute to show your support. For every $1 donated we can provide 7 meals. There’s no debate. Hunger is real. Join the Campaign to End Hunger today.
